The discussion will be focused on identifying key issues that graduate students are facing with respect to faculty advising during their research for a dissertation/thesis and the role the faculty adviser plays in their success at graduate school.

In the Graduate School Climate Study students cite the relationship with their faculty adviser as one of the key factors that impact their graduate experience. We would like to hear more about how the relationship with your faculty adviser is impacting your experience at UT Austin.

See the Climate Study at http://www.utexas.edu/ogs/about/climatestudy/
The discussion of faculty/student relationships at UT Austin begins on pg. 20.
